About the Team

The Dasher & Logistics team is responsible for ensuring every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy and a positive Consumer, Merchant and Dasher experience. Dasher & Logistics owns initiatives that touch all parts of the Dasher life cycle ranging from supply & demand, to cost & quality, to Dasher pay, to Dasher retention, to order batching and beyond. We care about metrics like delivery times, cost per order, delivery quality, dasher compensation, and many more! 

About the Role

You will play an integral role in the Cost & Quality pillar of Dasher & Logistics which focuses on improving delivery quality in order to save the company hundreds of millions of dollars per year which we will reinvest right back into our audiences as better earnings for Dashers and lower prices for Consumers. Your primary goal is to make sure every order is dropped off at the correct location and makes it to the Consumer by getting into the weeds and really understanding what’s happening on the ground, developing and testing hypotheses, and scaling that impact through working with our Product teams. You will report into a Manager on the Quality team who has been leading the charge in this problem space.

  • You have 1-2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, financial services, operations, technology, or related experience
  • You are able to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset. You can crunch data in SQL/excel independently.
  • You love thinking about problems from a first principles approach, and you aren’t afraid to take action and try new things in order to create the future.
  • You are able to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and thorough way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below.  Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.  For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location.  Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
