Location: Lower East Side, New York City

Time Commitment: approximately 32-40 hours

Anticipated Schedule: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM [Monday to Friday]

The Property Operations Lead role is an on-site facilitator of everything that the Kasa guest will experience during their stay from property maintenance, vendor coordination and assisting our guests. As a Property Operations Lead in New York City, you will have end-to-end ownership over the on-the-ground operations for Kasa's flagship Lantern property. You will ensure properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including common areas and individual units to Kasa brand standards and meet our guest needs.

Like many operations roles, there is no “typical day” but you will collaborate daily with Kasa teams and partners to drive results. You will identify, prioritize, and execute cost-effective property improvements aligned with Kasa brand standards and your regional portfolio team. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: assess units to complete recurring property management tasks and cleanliness quality assurance, replacing broken items, managing work orders, coaching on-site housekeeping partners and service vendors, stocking supplies, maintaining inventory control, and providing a 5-star stay experience for Kasa guests.  You will also be the face of Kasa as the primary point of contact for providing last-minute requests and assisting with guest issues.

A typical schedule for this role is based on business needs in your market with an expectation to be able to work later into the day based on property needs.  Weekends and holidays may require coverage as we are in the hospitality industry. While you are not 'on-call 24/7' for this job, during emergencies, you will get a call and if you're available, we compensate above state requirements to a minimum of 2 hours Overtime, on defined days off or after working hours.
