SDVI’s Support Engineering team is a seasoned group of engineers who know how to get to the bottom of things. As a Support Engineer, you will be working shoulder-to-shoulder with other members of the engineering team to understand and root-cause software defects, and implement fixes to continue to deliver our customers rock-solid functionality and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Triage and assist in root-cause analysis of software issues discovered internally and in customer environments
  • Coordinate debug efforts between the developers and support teams
  • Work with engineers through design, implementation, and deployment of fixes for investigated issues
  • Write test automation and tools to ensure the quality of our services

Who You Are

  • An experienced software professional with 5 or more years experience in software development
  • A college graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, with preference for CS, CpE, or EE
  • A software developer at your core, who uses their powers for good in supporting production operations
  • Communicative, valuing building strong relationships and even stronger teams
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Possess a tendency to “go digging” when confronted with a challenge
  • An accomplished mentor or teacher
  • Familiar with microservice architectures, REST APIs, and Single-Page Web Applications
  • Energized and motivated by new challenges
  • Enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder with your customers
