Mysterium Network is the world’s first decentralized VPN incentivised with cryptocurrency. We have been in development for the last two years, focused on building a global node network, upgrading NAT traversal mechanics within our node software, and organically growing our user bases in emerging markets.
Roles and responsibilities: Responsible for the overall development life cycle Work closely with Head of Product in developing a strategy and road map of Mysterium Network node & client side applications Supporting the Head of product, taking ownership of refining and managing the product backlog Leading engineering team to develop the best technical design and approach for each of Mysterium Network’s products’ development Coaching team with knowledge about networking & p2p Hands on product development on creating tech design Install best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules Project management – prioritization, planning of epics and features, stakeholder management and tracking of team commitments and delivery As a problem solver, you eliminate conflicts, assist your team in developing appropriate solution strategies, and manage stakeholder expectations Oversee user testing and report results—adjust requirements as needed Review all work produced by the development team ensuring quality assurance Ensure code produced meets company standards Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience Technical knowledge: p2p networking, linux, windows networking, TCP, UDP, java and Golang Advanced knowledge of HTTP(s) and telecommunication security protocols 5+ years of Software Development experience 3+ years of experience in building and leading engineering teams Hands-on technical expertise in either distributed systems, microservices, devops, networking or crypto/blockchain Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience managing a team of more than 5 engineers & working in highly scalable distributed environment Very good organizational skills Fluent in English Ability to interact comfortably with Mysterium.
