Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly activities including reconciliations of R&D-related accounts and preparation for journal entries according to close calendars
  • Review the key contracts and purchase orders and ensure our payment schedules are in line with the contracts. Review vendor-reported information against contract
  • Engage in cross-functional communications with preclinical and development teams and maintain accurate accrual models
  • Perform detail analysis of patient activities and reflect the accurate data in the clinical accrual model
  • Maintain and update financial planning model related to R&D activities, especially activities associated with clinical trials
  • Analyze the site payments and perform reconciliation
  • Build and maintain trackers for any R&D milestone activities
  • Utilize NetSuite functionalities to achieve efficiency in required reporting
  • Assist with preparing information for SEC reporting
  • Document process updates and perform controls in compliance with SOX404
  • Assist with financial audits/reviews, internal audits, and tax preparations
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of accounting in Bioscience Industry
  • Being detail oriented and organized in working environments
  • Strong communication skills

 

The starting base pay range for this position is $87,266.00 – $129,688.00. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
