Being a part of the AddeU Internship Program, you will be working on a meaningful project(s) that you can feel proud of and present back to the company at the end of the experience. In addition to having a supporting manager and mentor, we have a fantastic onboarding program to get you acclimated and ready for your time with us. Fun events and super cool swag are also included!

The Role

We are currently seeking a Product Analytics Intern for our Investor Persona team! The Investor Persona function is focused on designing and delivering innovative tools and services for investment decision makers. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn about Addepar and the wealth-tech industry, portfolio and market analysis, data science in the investment domain and fundamentals of product management and design.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $25 – $39.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand Addepar's business and products
  • Understand investment decision making workflows and product/technology trends in this space
  • Help define and scope product roadmaps
  • Gather requirements, define epics and user stories
  • Hands on development of investment analytics and data process in Databricks, python, SQL, Looker and Hex
  • Work closely with investment analytics, product teams and engineering

Who You Are

  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution (university must be located in the US & Canada) & must be returning to school after internship
  • Available to intern for the full 12 weeks
  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent education covering databases and SQL
  • Basic programming skills in python and SQL
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and visual) and storytelling skills
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools is strongly preferred (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Passion for seeking insights in data and using data to tackle problems that matter
  • Readiness to learn new technologies and systems
  • Familiarity with the financial industry preferred
  • Interested in pursuing a career in analytics, product management, program management, operations preferred
